The 2013 American Music Awards took place yesterday Nov. 24, 2013 at the Nokia Theatre Los Angeles.

The 2013 American Music Awards saw both new and familiar faces walking away with trophies.
Multiple-winner Taylor Swift took the stage three times to accept awards, including the artist of the year, while One Direction and budding star Ariana Grande received their first AMAs.
